"Purple Swirl" is one of three miniature female body outlines, inspired by a trip to New York City where I explored
various art galleries. For this piece, I wanted to follow a more abstract shape and incorporate some of the well-known
swirls from my Effusion sculptures. She rests on a stained glass tile with beautiful shades that fade from purple to white.
Enclosed in one of my handmade, wall-mounted shadow boxes, "Purple Swirl" measures 6 x 6 inches.
