"Red Woman" is one of three miniature female body outlines, inspired by a trip to New York City where I explored
various art galleries. While my body of work typically does not represent the natural shapes of the human form, I
wanted to step outside of my comfort zone to create what I believed to be a beautiful representation of one.
"Red Woman" is made with 2mm stringer rods in the color Red Crayon. Backed by a stained glass tile that transitions
from warm colors to a white fade, she is displayed in one of my handmade, wall-mounted shadow boxes.
The framed piece measures 7x7 inches.
